Went here to celebrate my birthday with my family. Great food and service. Chantell was especially lovely, thank you! Will be back.

We visited from out of town on Saturday night, with our two young daughters-and wanted a family friendly restaurant. We were given a wonderfully warm welcome here and our girls were delighted to receive their ‘party bags’ which were such a great touch to keep them occupied til our food arrived. The staff were friendly, polite and interacted with our kids brilliantly. Our food arrived promptly and was piping hot. There is clearly strong management in this branch and you could tell that all the staff were giving 100%. A really fantastic family treat!

Local to me and a bit of a convenient place to frequent lol but the food is amazing always hot and tasty and plenty of it . I have had the breakfast on several occasions and the choice is unbelievable from cereals to cold meats and breads crossiants yogurt and a full English amazing all help yourself to as much as you like which is the best part. Price is not too bad . It's worth paying that little bit extra for the quality ,quantity and service you get . Also had lunch and evening meals here and so worth every penny . I have tried a few other places in the Lordshill area and baddesley but this place knocks spots of all of them and is the only place I will go now to eat out be it breakfast lunch or dinner 😁🥇🏆I must also say that the staff are truly attentive and friendly and nothing is too much effort to make you happy so a big hands up to each and every member of the staff and of course the chefs thanks will be in again soon x

I had an impromptu 16th Birthday here for my daughter yesterday. As always the staff here can not do enough for you. They were so accommodating, friendly and went the extra mile for us. The food was great and real value for money. Thanks to all of you. Xxx

Great pub grub, went on Friday evening and was very busy but was quickly found a table even though we hadn't booked. Didn't have the steak we wanted but ordered an alternative and the cost of one of the meals was taken off the bill to apologise without us even asking. Staff were super friendly and helpful and made sure we were well looked after �

Great food. We had the steaks perfectly cooked my son had a lobster burgers , he said it was the best burger he's ever eaten . Staff we're very attentive. We willDefinitely be booking again.

The starter was terrible,but the main was superb as was the dessert all being part of the festive deal,the service was ok,food side great but let’s say you wouldn’t get drunk very quickly in there!!!!

It was mother’s day, but despite this we were shown straight to our table, asked if we wanted drinks, then someone else came and asked if we wanted starters or order our meals. The service was quite quick considering mother’s day. And very friendly waitresses . Thank you

I was just wondering how many of the customers who left bad reviews spoke to the staff and moaned during their visit. I had a minor issue and it was dealt with quickly without fuss. The staff are running about all smiling and happy to help. Speak to them they are real people.! Great food. Great atmosphere and very welcoming to visiting clients. O would highly recommend this place. Thanks and well done

The staff did seem run off their feet so maybe management need to sort out staffing levels especially at weekends.

I prebooked breakfast for me and my grandson..We always have a beefeater breakfast on the way to a football match..first time here. Usually we do the rusty cutter in havant. Service was ok. Food was good if a little slow on replenishment. Staff looked a little rushed..Maybe it's paranoia but I felt a little out if place with us wearing our team shirts.. (Not worthy enough to eat there).

I think we have been spoiled by the excellent all round standards of the Rusty Cutter. The Balmoral is ok and a good stop off if your in the area.

Hey. Had some 40% off vouchers from you in the post this morning. Thank you. However, in the Ts & Cs it says to present the voucher to the server when ordering, and then again when bill is requested. Can you tell me why we have to present vouchers when ordering. Are you going to give us a smaller meal ? or yesterdays leftovers ?

Food is OK. Some items on the menu were not available. Limited availability of draught real ale and expensive for drinks. Service was slow and my coffee was luke warm. OK for children but there are much better options available.

Waited 1-1/2 for food only to be told kitchen had lost our food ticket. Rude staff, not enough staff, many tables not cleared of dirty plates & glasses, the ones that were empty hadn't even been wiped over with a clean cloth.

Have visited previously & again service was terrible.

Give the brand Beefeater a very bad name.

The Balmoral is local to us and really handy. Service tbh is always slow and have previously complained about waiting for 45mins for a roast, however the management dealt with that issue quickly. We decided to give it another go as it was dealt with so promptly and eat regularly either breakfast or lunchtime and is so close. However on Saturday went in for a quick breakfast to be asked by staff if we were with the hotel, I said no and she said unfortunately they weren't able to take public as hotel users come first! I was gobsmacked, it wasn't really busy. I was livid. We will not be returning again so for the sake of a table they have lost a regular customer!
