Very nice site good toilet and shower block great week would go back
Lovely surroundings, although it was busy with lots of children, what can you expect when its the summer holidays? All the kids were settled down by around 10pm so didnt really disturb us at night. Very helpful staff. Didnt want to come home!!
I would just like to report that Ashurst Campsite is one of the best Campsites around! I stayed at this Site for one month, just short of one day, and I will be singing their praises from the roof tops! Not only is it a most Beautiful Place to stay, amongst the ancient and magnificent trees and incredible surroundings, and wildlife, the facilities are kept so incredible clean, and in tip top condition, by all the wonderful staff that work there. The Team of Wardens are so Beautifully Wonderful! They will go out of their way to assist you in any and every way that they can, and in my case they all did. They are so welcoming and gracious and I have been Honoured to get to know one or two of them, and I will tell you, I will be making a report to send to their Head Office about the Wonderful way they look after their Customers, and the Park.

Great site with all the facilities you could need. Shower /toilets/ wash rooms in great condition and always clean. Plenty of sites to pitch, just stay away from the railway line pitches if you're a light sleeper! Highly recommend
Great setting for a campsite. Facilities are maintained to a very high standard of cleanliness.
Great campsite ... had everything we needed. Plenty of walks close by, clean facilities and helpful rangers. Will be back!
Found it to be a beautiful campsite with helpful and friendly staff. Nothing was too much trouble and felt really welcome and part of the family.

Fantastic forest camp site with ample space and the freedom to pitch where you like.
Great access to the forest direct from site. Lots of wildlife. Several pubs and shops within easy walking distance
Excellent site with friendly staff who keep the whole place spic & span. Good showers and loos, always clean and always hot water.
Our 4th visit and it won't be our last.

Ashurst is a great place to go camping with family and friends. We had an excellent time there in the school holidays. Good value for money.
Amazing campsite with clean facilities, very helpful and friendly staff!! Pubs in walking distant with good beer and food. Several beaches 20-30 min drive away. Perfect can’t wait to come back.
A very warm welcome from the site warden when we arrived. Camped with family in two tents and we had plenty of space around us. Toilet and Shower facilities modern, excellent and kept exceptionally clean, even though the site was busy. Good washing up facilities too. Thoroughly recommended.

Not as good as the past few years and loo roll hurts after a wipes
The good bits... Nice campsite, friendly staff, showers and toilets were clean and modern. 5 minute walk to nearest pub but a better pub is only a couple of minutes further down the road.
The bad bits... Although I was camped a good way from the road the traffic noise did not stop all night. A much busier road than I had thought it would be. It actually kept me awake most of the night. I booked for two nights but left after one. I couldn't face another sleepless night. The fee's are a bit expensive for camping.
My recommendation would be to take ear plugs.
Good location, but very expensive for an overnight stop for an adult and two children on bikes with a couple of small tents. I won't rush back.
Site is nice enough (best toilet/shower block I've come across at a campsite) however, the same can't be said of the manager who was exceptionally rude - he even bashed a metal sign into my car and I got not even so much as a "sorry" from him...
