Congratulations, fantastic news! All that hard work and determination paid off!!

Well done to everybody who took part in the coloured belt grading last Sunday. A huge congratulations to Alexandra Booth for getting an 'A' pass.

Good luck to everyone grading this Sunday at Winton School. Be there for 9:45 am at the latest with your clean, pressed white doboks (no parking on the grass and no noise in the dojang during proceedings). 5th Kup and upwards remember to bring your sparring equipment. Give it everything you have got - effort and desire count more than anything else - though obviously good technique and control can be useful too :0)

Notice for the change of training location for Andover Tae-Kwon-Do. From 1st April 2017 onwards all Andover Tae Kwon-Do training will take place at Winton School. The times for all classes will remain unchanged, but on Saturday mornings the classes will be held in the Winton School Dance Studio. To find this, enter using the normal door and turn immediate right. The room is on the left after only a few metres. The classes on 11th, 18th and 25th of March will be the final one...s to be held in the Andover Leisure Centre. So, to confirm, from 1st April the Andover training times and venues will be as follows: -
Tuesday, 6:30 and 7:30. Winton School Gym (as before) Thursday, 6:30 and 7:30. Winton School Gym (as before) Saturday, 9:30, 10:30 and 11:30, Winton School Dance Studio
All training is Basingstoke remains unchanged.

Congratulations to Tom & Brendon who won medals at the British Championships on Sunday! Brendon Tasker: GOLD - Tag team BRONZE - Patterns Tom Lewis: ... BRONZE - Patterns SILVER - Sparring Tom also beat the current World Champion in the 1st round! Well done guys, apologies if anyone else has been missed out (please comment below if so), these are the only results I know from the day. Congratulations to all who competed from Andover & Basingstoke and Jeff for officiating!

Due to the Winton School Open day, there will be no lessons on the Tuesday 30th September 2014. All other training sessions are running as normal.

Hope the grading went well for all those going for their next grades! Update from Worcester:
3 competitors from Andover who entered the Midlands Championships came back with 7 medals between them:
Brendon Tasker - GOLD patterns, GOLD team.... Tom Lewis - BRONZE sparring, GOLD team. Catherine Pearson - BRONZE patterns, SILVER sparring, BRONZE team.

Pre-gradings take place this week, primarily tonight (2nd June) in Basingstoke and tomorrow night (3rd June) in Andover, for the colour belt grading on 15th June. If you plan to grade this time, please attend tonight or tomorrow if possible, although you will still be allowed to pregarde later in the week if you cannot make these dates - black belts of course, you are always required to help.
