We had a lovely meal tonight with the kids, they don't have a kids menu as such however they did go out of their way to cater for them. The Easter egg competition was a winner also as both kids got a mini egg and we received vouchers for future meals so all round a lovely meal.. We'll be back to use our 50% off voucher very soon (without the kids) Thank you..

Visited last night after booking a table with their friendly staff last week. The atmosphere and place itself is awesome, very chilled, definitely what we were after. The food was okay, was expecting a little more chicken than what we got but it was tasty nevertheless. The cheese balls are really yummy! We ordered some cocktails and gin etc, very tasty and we'll presented! Will definitely be visiting again! :)

Visited for the first time last night as our new local. Decor is amazing and so is the atmosphere. Staff very good, friendly but professionally. My partner tried the fillet steak and said it was the best steak he had ever had it was perfect and so worth the money. I had the chicken burger with sweet potato wedges, very yummy. Also had puddings gorgeous brownie with creme egg for Easter theme and banoffe pie yum yum. We were given two eggs to open as a little easter game, we won a voucher for 10% off next visit (will definitely be back to use it!) and won a free cocktail so that was a nice treat. We already know what we would fancy trying the next visit it's not just all about chicken they do have variety. Overall very pleased we tried it and nice to have something different in the area rather than the typical curry houses/pubs. Highly recommended! ����

This was the second visit to Koop as a last minute decision so no table booked. Warm welcome and seated straight away, the staff are very attentive. The food was very tasty, quick to arrive and well presented, the fillet steak was particularly good. Pleased to see they’ve gone back to mayo based coleslaw!! Based on last night we would certainly recommend it, even just for a drink as the decor and atmosphere are great.

Really lovely Mother’s Day roast dinner. The veggies were absolutely gorgeous, especially the sweet potatoes and cauliflower cheese. We will definitely be back if the roast dinners become a permanent fixture. Will have to come back another time to try the normal menu.

Really liked it, good atmosphere and great staff... really chatty and fun!! I had duck which was perfectly cooked!! The Chicken my daughter had could have done with a small garnish (purely because some people need that presentation thing). The stuffed chicken was also amazing �. Definitely my new place to go!!!!

My wife and I visited last night and were very impressed. We were informed upon booking a table that it would be a high table with bar style stools, and although not ideal for sitting to eat a meal they were actually very comfortable and not a problem. It was nice to be informed of this ahead of arriving.



The restaurant was busy and had a nice ambience and atmosphere. The staff were also friendly and attentive. A good range of different craft beers and my wife said the watermelon mojito that she had was really nice.



It's also nice to see a restaurant with a focussed menu and not trying to be all things to all people. Our meals were fantastic! Granted, it is fairly basic food but done really well with some lovely flavours. The desert we ordered was also really nice and ample for sharing!



Would definitely recommend and we will definitely be back!!

My fiancé and I came here for Easter Sunday lunch today and we really enjoyed it. It was relatively quiet when we went at 12.30 which was nice rather than a lot of places that are super busy at the weekend. The two staff who we saw were friendly and attentive and got us anything we needed.



The food was delicious - I had jerk and lime chicken breast (a bit spicy for me but I let my fiancé choose the sauce!), spicy rice and red slaw. The rice...omg it was so nice, id definitely have it again and the chicken was moist and tasty. My fiancé had a lovely bbq burger and chips and garlic bread...which I nicked a bit of, of course! � it’s such a shame I didn’t have room for desert because the Creme egg brownie looked amazing!



They also had a new type of cider...Rekorderlig botanicals. It was very refreshing and as I’ve never seen it anywhere before it made it that much nicer � looking forward to going back and sampling the cocktail menu which looks great. Something different to the usual sex in the beach and Long Island iced tea �



All in all a fab lunch in a great location and I can’t wait to take my girlfriends. X

Came here with 15 friends for a surprise birthday party, they catered extremely well, food came out hot and on time, they even did a special fish plate for my vegan friend which wasn’t on they’re menu! Food is very nice and top quality! Highly recommend, George the boss man did absolutely everything I asked and more!

Brilliant place to eat, you have to order the extra sides to make a full dinner but that’s the whole point of the place.

We had a brilliant range of food. Really nice, staff couldn’t do enough for us.

And the pudding was to die for. I’ll be back just for the Banoffee Apple crumble!!

Lovely evening, lovely ambiance, lovely food!

We have been regular visitors to Red Lounge over the years and were keen to visit Koop + Kraft and try out the new menu. It really is a new experience. We were seated on raised bar stools, which wasn't a problem but it would've been nice to have been told this at the time of booking. The food was very good and very reasonably priced. Although the dishes are very much mix and match with side orders of your choice, I would suggest the dishes should have some sort of salad garnish to add some colour. This would prevent the meal looking very brown/ beige. The service was good, I agree with many of the previous reviews. We had a number of different waiting staff coming to us, it would be better to just have one per table in my view. To sum up, this isn't the Red Lounge, it is a very different eating experience. It has a feel of nandos to it, or a London one off semi fast food place. It is lively and bustling, the design is great. I recommend you go and try Koop + Kraft but be open minded, take a look at the menu on line before you go. I hope the management think about stepping up the standard of service, look to put on some offers for early bird or discounts for the beginning of the week and produce a children's menu. We will be back with our two children but only if there's a children's menu.

Nicely decorated and the food was good. It would be nice to have some starters to choose from, the service was good until the end when nobody came over for 40 minutes so we decided against ordering pudding and went to the bar to ask for the bill instead. Hopefully these are just teething problems so we will try again! Good value for money too.

Lovely staff and great atmosphere, we waited a long time for food, and they weren’t serving puddings because they were busy..

The menu to me wasn’t outstanding not sure that we will be returning which is a shame.

If you want to be better than the red lounge, then the menu and food needs to be excellent. But it’s still early days �

Had such a good evening! Koop+Kraft has a really great atmosphere and the decor is fab. All staff were friendly and helpful throughout the whole evening (especially Jeni). The food and cocktails were great. The drinks are pricey but the food is reasonably priced, so it balanced out. Great place it’s definitely worth a visit.

First visit after the revamp, really enjoyed our night but not blown away. The decor is amazing and atmosphere great, the bar area is now so much roomier than before. We ordered starters, and 2 sauces-£1.50 each, which came out in small ramekins. Tasty halloumi and chicken, the sauces were taken away after starters but considering the price should really have stayed on the table for the next course as they'd hardly been touched-maybe ask whether these want to be kept for the next course? Food was hot, but 3 of us had burgers which were nice but dry, would suggest sauces added as standard without charge (mayo and tomato sauce were offered but what seemed like a thimble full appeared and no one to ask for more!). We all agreed that the coleslaw needs to go and revert to good old fashioned mayonnaise based coleslaw not red cabbage in a bland vinaigrette, none of us liked it to be honest. Will definitely visit again as we felt VERY welcome by all the staff, it's a great place but not sold on the food....yet!

The food was lovely couldn’t fault that. The service was hit and miss one minute there was a waitress and next there were none and then they all came over at the same time. One waitress to look after our table all night would have been better. The shocking bit was at the end when we asked for tea and coffee to be told that you didn’t do either of them! Couldn’t quite believe it as it always ends an evening off nicely when you have had such a lovely meal. You are missing out there you could be making more money and have more happy customers ! To have to go home and make your own coffee is quite disappointing . Please train your staff as well there didn’t seem to be any form of management there making sure that everyone was being looked after .

Nice atmosphere. Nice cocktails. Food was not great. My chicken was very dry, but when i told the manager he was very good. I'm not sure if it is trying to be a reastuarnt or a bar with a bit of food. It seems a bit confused as to its identity. Hoping it will iron out all the kinks as it has been open for just 1 week I think the menu needs to be considered again and tweaked. Maybe try again in a few months, not going to write it off yet as we did have an enjoyable night.

Food trying to be cowplains answer to Nando’s ordering your chicken and sides- but wasn’t a touch on Nando’s I could cook up a better storm in my own kitchen. The meat/chicken was tough the chips were fried McCains the sauce wasn’t even flavoured. Would I come back again maybe for drinks but most definitely not food!
