We are saddened to have heard about the passing of Mr John Cromie adored husband of our Home Industries Judge Fiona Cromie, our thoughts and prayers are with Fiona, her daughter Racquelle and Son Jonathan at this sad time. If true love was to be compared to one couple it would be John & Fiona Cromie, rarely seen apart with a smile on their faces and a twinkle in their eyes at every show in the country, every young farmers event, and YFA events the world over or just an romantic evening christmas shopping in Belfast, Fiona you have lost your best friend but we our sure you will treasure all those wonderful memories - with all our love from your Friends at Castlewellan Show xx

We all had a great night at the Farming Life Awards, thank you all for the kind messages left for our fantastic show secretary, we are so proud that Jackie was shortlisted to the final 4 for the ‘Woman of Excellence in Agriculture’ Award. Congratulations to Rhonda Geary RUAS who was crowned the winner of this award from all the team at Castlewellan Show. What a super day, this was the first time we had been to the show.

Very well organised indeed, every route in had a steward to provide guidance. Easy parking and great facilities. I wish we had went sooner.

We had a wonderful day at the show. So well organised and friendly. Only one little criticism - the signage on the approach roads was not great. However, everyone seemed to get there ok and there was so much to see - especially nice to see so many youngsters involved with the animals. Thank you for all the hard work that must go into organising a show of this size.

We had a lovely day. Fully enjoyed being able to walk round and see all the different animals. The food marquee was brilliant as we got to sample so many new foods. Came home with some aswell. Yes it was mucky but it's a field. A map of everything would have been good tho. Looking forward to going again.

Fantastic show very well organised, so much fun for all the family! I was competing so didn't see much but the rest of the gang had a Blast! Hope to be back next year! : )

Fantastic day out for the whole family, there's something for everyone there, whatever your age. A very well organised event that we as a family attend every single year. Well done castlewellen agricultural show for a suburb show in a beautiful setting.

Excellent day out lots of things to do and see for all the family

An excellent show, something for everyone whether you enjoy the country life or not and, for 9 hours of entertainment and fun, the entry fee was superb value for money! Roll on the next 50 years 🎉🎉🎉

Absolutely a fantastic day well worth a visit next year.

Well the weather did help. Lots to see but felt lucky didn't have children with me as that would have been too expensive. Traffic was chaos and this needs addressed as I'm aware of people stuck in traffic at Belfast end who turned around and went to Newcastle. Great organised event but some man rabbiting on over PA constantly was irritating particularly as we couldnt make out a word he was saying! All the livestock great to see and dog agility was the best fun!
