Calderglen Country Park

Lots of trails to visit and walk along. The Visitor Center has the cutest collection of animals to learn about.

Been here a few times now and enjoyed it every time. My daughter loves looking at all the animals. The park for the children is also really good. Lots of stuff for the kids to play with. The cafe is also really nice. Good food menu there and good portion sizes!!

Great day out for all the family and very inexpensive too. Lots of space for little ones to run off all their energy. Nice cafe too

Lovely walk around the stream, with waterfalls and bridges, lots of great views and places to run around. The new park is great for the kids, lots of different things to do. Cafe is nice. Zoo part is great too (very cheap), lots to keep the kids entertained, and the hot house is especially good on cold days! Had a kids birthday party, where they got to handle the animals and the kids loved it. One of our favourite places to go.

Lots of dog walkers all safe and on leads. Lovely kids play park. Great walks and place for a picnic. The very small zoo was good to see for 50p and £1.50 for adults, also gives you access to nice garden. Nice tea room with indoor and outdoor seating. Highly recommend this place 😁

Great place for kids, large play park along with plenty of grassy areas and picnic benches. There is also a mini zoo. Great day out for the family

Great little zoo, very inexpensive, the have a fine range of animals amd plant life. Meerkats! The genuine itself is gorgeous and geologically very interesting.

Very good place for family trip.. mini zoo and children playground are fantastic and also nice trails around the park to little walk for everyone :)

Great place for the children. Small but well kept animal park. Includes monkeys, exotic birds, Meerkats and many more interesting animals. Also park has large play area. Very well kept. Recommended.
