Went with friends for Steak Night. We had a lovely meal, steak was cooked to perfection. The staff were friendly without being overbearing. Keep it up Allotment. Congratulations on a really great place, will be back.

Went in for a late breakfast to help the hangover. I had a bloody Mary and ordered the muffin with smoked salmon, avocado and 2 poached eggs. It was delicious and reasonably priced and the service was excellent. Recommended if you're in Manchester.

We called in here for a drink yesterday. Very impressed. We loved it! Comfy bar area with lots of lovely lighting and a good choice of ales, gin and wine! We will be back 👍🏼

Visited the allotment bar 27.01.2018 for a belated birthday celebration with some of my family and had a brilliant time. We were allocated a lovely spot, we opted to eat before taking part in gin tasting. The food was absolutely gorgeous, perfect place if you have any allergies. The 6 of us took part in the gin tasting, which was hosted by Emily. It was well worth £20 each. Emily was a brilliant host and couldn't have looked after us any better. Would 100% recommend The Allotment for anything whether it be for food and drinks or gin tasting. We will definately be coming back. Thank you for a lovely afternoon! �

Staff really friendly and very knowledgeable of gin variety and even made a cocktail not on the menu for us !

My daughter an I were out together an we were told of this place by a close friend. We wasn't disappointed what a treat we had. Staff were lovely food was good absolutely made our day out great. Thank you all

My 2nd visit with friends last night & just simply love it! Fantastic chilled out atmosphere, unbelievable Gin menu, superb service, great food & amazing live music, what more could you want from a venue! 😍

Lovely atmosphere and the food was sooooo good, different edge to it and great care taken over the presentation. I shall be going back.

Happy pleasant staff thought the veggie board better than the butchers but probably personal choice certainly will recommend enjoy 😉

Excellent gin selection and such a great idea having such a detailed gin menu; the bar man who dealt with our order said that they were currently changing the menu but if we picked a gin that wasn't in stock he would be able to recommend something similar. Really knowledgeable about matching tonic and fruits, never a wait at the bar even tho we were there on a Saturday and it was busy. Great atmosphere and great service.

Amazing place with an unbelievable selection of gins... Even my beer loving husband trusted me to order one for him. We'll definitely be back. Highly recommended.

Absolute gem of a place tucked away in the Northern Quarter. Decor was beautiful. Food tasty - was happy gluten free options too. Gin menu amazing! Staff ( a young Scottish guy) was very friendly and gave excellent service. We will definitely be back!!!

A wonderful quirky place. A lot of consideration given to decor and menu. Wonderful array of gins. Staff friendly and helpful.

Love the gin and cocktails menus, and the staff are fab. I’ve been before and would say I really love the place, however changes have occurred in the last few months! I’ve knocked off a star as I wasn’t madly impressed that part of the Allotment has been fenced off - for dining? But that’s progress I guess. I was also a bit disappointed at the ‘meh’ way my 3 months notice of booking a gin tasting was handled - friendly enough, but with overtones if ‘it depends on the staff rota that week’. I thought it might be considered rude if I pointed out that if people are making reservations now, they should perhaps be planning their staff rotas now. We’ll see what happens.... For all that, it’s a lovely place to walk into when you’re in NQ and you won’t fail to be impressed with the offerings on the drinks menu (food menu looks good too!).

Booked on the back of great reviews on FB and trip advisor. Reasonably priced, fabulous staff with an extensive bar menu, menu ended up being a little limited as a lot of food had sold out, food was nice. Marked down because of sell outs and serving a gluten free dish with regular crackers. If something is advertised as gluten free, it should be served without contamination.

Used to be 5 star but why have you changed the Sunday roast situ? No vegetarian option anymore and it’s now a stupid sharing board. For a meat eater and a vegetarian it’s no good. Change it back!

Only played the smiths for an hour and a half and brought the mood down of the party. Really annoying because I don’t really like the smiths and can’t assume all of the public do. Please vary playlist.
