A predominantly voice-led musical ensemble, Lusaint’s music is rich and full. Her music reveals a departure from classic female vocals with a unique tone and a subtle yet effective exploration of the balance between voice and instrumental.

The Swing Commanders take well-crafted songs from the thirties to the fifties and overlay them with lush vocal harmonies and hot solos. A young and vibrant quintet, they perform 40’s swing and western swing at its very best!

You are spoilt for choice in Manchester with the many very good restaurants, we chose to eat at the Abode Brasserie last night and it was excellent, I had the steak and it was cooked to perfection, the cocktails were impressive, I can very highly recommend the Brasserie and we will be back.

User

Went to the champagne taster meal met some excellent people who all enjoyed the evening. Very informative, champagne rep new his stuff. food excellent although could have been bigger portions. Entertainment was provided by a brilliant magician who kept everyone entertained. Will definitely do another night in the future.

We bought a voucher from itson for a gin masterclass. However when we got there it was a Vermouth masterclass which was very disappointing as it was a birthday present from my children. The manager explained there must have been a marketing problem and kindly agreed we could have complementary entrance to the actual gin master class in September.

We aren’t that keen on Vermouth but the tasting menu was nice and the venue is smart. It made a nice change to receive good customer service, I am hoping that all will go smoothly at the event in September.

User

Simply the best. Booked a standard room and was upgraded to The Johnny Cash Suite and oh my what an amazing treat! Such a beautiful suite with free chocolate, crisps, biscuits, juice, Nespresso coffee and more. Fantastic views and so peaceful too even though it is in the centre of Manchester. This hotel has character, if you want standard hotel room don’t book this. This place has atmosphere and it is truly amazing. Thank you for a brilliant night 😀

User

Seems to be some mixed reviews. I can only comment in my experience. Check in desk/reception was always warm and welcoming. Everything was quick and easy. Drinks were all good in the hotel. The cocktails that were part of the deal were nice. Evening meal and breakfast were both good quality and very tasty. All service was good. Hotel very nicely decorated and in a good location in Manchester. No parking at hotel but there is a car park 3 mins walk in the street behind the hotel. Hotel will validate parking for a guest rate of £10 for 24 hours. Didn't notice any noise from surrounding area when in room on 1st floor. Room was slightly small but not uncomfortable. Bed a little soft but that is a personal preference. Autumn in the city deal was exceptional value which included cocktails,£40 credit for evening meal and breakfast. Would not hesitate to stop here again when next in Manchester.

Overnight stay & meal on Saturday evening (30th June 2018) and can’t fault the food or service. The new Ast Manager Marc was fantastic. Marc and his staff couldn’t do enough for us and made our anniversary a very nice occasion. Thank you Abode

Located next to Piccadilly Train Station (closer than exspected, perfect location for us)

Stayed over for the night with my Fiance as we was going to a concert in the evening at the 02 Apollo.

We was welcomed with a smiley receptionist who gave us our hotel room keys. First impressions, the decor was beautiful, sparkling clean and excited to see the Hotel 'Desiriable' Room!

We got to our room on the fourth floor, again the decor was beautiful and spacious enough for two people with a Desirable luxury feel to the room. The bed was massive (obviously me and my fiance had to do a trust fall backwards on to the bed) it was extremely comfy to say the least.

In the morning we went for a continental buffet breakfast & cooked to order full English Vegetarian breakfast. We was happily greeted the staff was very polite and friendly and the food was hot and fresh as promised. Overall delighted with the experience and customer service that we received! Thank you for your hospiality, i will definitely recommend to friends & family 5*

User

I didn't stay at this hotel, not pay for the service. But the reason I am giving it Five Stars is because the help that we received from the receptionist on Saturday 2nd Dec 2017. I was stuipidly didn't print out my ticket for the Charlatans gig that night. Been trying most of the hotels around the area, some said they were busy, some not have the service, some have service only for their hotel guest. Out of this grim manchester wealther night. A smily lady receptionist made my husband and I had wonderful night by simply help us print out our gig tickets. Massive thanks you !adobe manchester, u emply the best people work for you! Hope u can pass on my complement to the receptionist on that night! (very sorry that I was in a rush and didnt get her name)

Greetings

Great hotel.

4th Visit returning again on 29th July 2018 for a three day visit. Abode Manchester is under rated on Expedia, where I booked from please [ please check my reviews of the property on Expedia ]. The hotel is a well kept surprise in the Piccadilly area which is worth a trip, for great drinks, a friendly vibe and great breakfast omelettes. Room 105 was fabulous ,spacious , clean and with a cosy feel.

Very close to the Picadilly Train Station.

Starbucks Across the Street.

Tesco and Sainsbury’s 100ms from the hotel

First visit with three friends for lunch. Excellent food, service and v comfortable. Will be returning.

User

Amazing decor staff very attentive, breakfast menu just wow . I would definitely recommend The Abode to family and friends

User

Absolutely beautiful hotel! Everything from rooms to food and cocktails are just perfect and every single member of the team that I have come across have been so so hospitable! What a wonderful place. Thankyou x

User

A group of six of us ate here yesterday. We had the Sunday Social menu with Prosecco. Bethany, who looked after us, served us immediately on arrival with iced water which was much appreciated on a very hot day. The food was excellent, with a good vegetarian option. The service made it though. Really friendly and knowledgeable. We never had to wait without a drink but also it wasn't intrusive. Really good atmosphere, great food and excellent service. We will definitely be returning.

User

Way over priced for very basic tiny room, but it did the trick and bed was comfy, parking is a bit of a mission... it's a fair 10 min walk from the hotel, but when arriving and all the way through the staff were very nice and friendly, the hotel is beautiful and the food in the restaurant was excellent. Including the gin selection! Love the decor. The breakfast was really special, Big portions, good food selection, lots on offer like chia seed pots, honeycomb, yoghurts, salmon, advocado, etc, not just your bog standard breakfast. My eggs were cooked to perfection! I would stay here again.

User

Second time here at short notice for business great service great food rooms cleverly decorated a little noise from vents at back of building but staff did give me option to change but decided to stay put next time will ring and ask to avoid that particular area.

Also used their meeting spaces to catch up with local suppliers very useful

User

Good but little things let it down, it could be so much better. Maintenance is needed of the up keep of the hotel. Location is brilliant! All the staff we came across were lovely!

User

Booked in for a festive lunch for a group of 10. Exceptional value at £16/head. Great food, service exemplary. Only downside that a 10% surcharge was added to the bill without being made aware prior and the free meal for one for a group of 10 was missed off the first bill, but later corrected. We'll be back next year - probably!

User

After getting them to honour the 2 for £10 cocktails as advertised on the website all went brilliantly. We had the 3 courses for £16 lunch menu and I don’t think you can beat it for quality, service and atmosphere. Beautifully presented and prepared. Plenty of veg too although brussels very hard! Brasserie upgrade is superb with option of booths, sofas or tables. Music great too, well done!
