We had a lovely evening, a birthday celebration made even more special by your lovely attentive waiters & staff

We had a really good dining experience followed by spending some time of your roof terrace with it spectacular views & opulent atmosphere!

Hope to see you again soon

User

The staff were so friendly and helpful and made the evening a special occassion for me and my partner. Even bringing out a special complimentary dish for his birthday. They were happy to answer every question in detail and service was with a smile. The food was lovely. And the venue spectacular. The only down side was that no-one asked if we had enjoyed our food? Maybe it's a given? Stunning views from the veranda of the entire area, including Holcombe hill where we live. Well worth a visit .

User

Thank you so much for our gorgeous afternoon lunch, fantastic views with our seats looking out over Manchester. We had booked the set lunch menu, I asked if there was any other vegetarian option and the guy who was looking after us got me a vegan menu (this is what I ordered from) staff was lovely couldn’t do enough for us. Highly recommended. Thanks again we had a lovely afternoon. Food was amazing, everything was amazing.

User

Really enjoyed our evening! Good was great! Big portions for a fine dining menu! Decent wine list too! Outside bar area is lovely too! Def worth a visit if you have been! 👌🏻

User

Love this place! 20 Stories high and you’re on cloud 9! Just a perfect afternoon yesterday with my girly step relatives. Special section reserved for us and excellent waiter service from Francesco! He couldn’t do enough for us!

The views are magnificent and the drinks are mmmmmm gin-tastic!! A massive shout out to my Dad’s namesake Mike O’Brien for serving us with a smile and such charm I’ll be back!!

User

Gorgeous views. Fantastic Gin menu. The bartender helped me pick out a new Gin to try after explaining what I liked to drink. He was spot on! We also had food on the terrace in one of the pods which are beautiful! Yes it’s a little pricey but totally worth it and will definitely be going again

First visit sat evening and it was as amazing , from the greeting from the front door all the way upstairs was great the door men were so polite , and when my Freind arrived who was pregnant. I didn't even have time to get up and offer her my chair before a gentleman .. clearly staff got 4 more chairs and built a complete table for her to sit at he was lovley , I also ordered a very strong drink and the bar tender politely told me not to rush it he was checking I was sipping it and he had great banter I've never been to a place we're we felt like the only girls in the world what a great Experience so thank you xx😉

User

Excellent place to meet for a catch up with the family and friends. Knew it was going to be great from the start when Ricardo was so welcoming when he took my order. 20 Stories

takes you to the top, where you have stunning views wherever you are sat or more all round when you walk around. Fantastic selection of cocktails, I tried three. Met Vito and Mike at the bar, both lovely and friendly. Will definitely be going again and will be recommending to my friends for an afternoon or evening out.

Thank you

User

Beautiful restaurant, fabulous views of the city, exceptional food and even better service, staff were so attentive and very professional. This was my 1st visit, but will definitely be going back and would certainly recommend 20 Stories to anyone wanting something special, because “Something Special” is exactly how I would describe this venue and experience.

User

Nice decor, friendly attentive staff. Served very quickly (maybe a little too quickly?) The tables around us were turned twice whilst we were there. Liked the Chicken Caesar Salad as starter, but surprised to find a large piece of foie gras with my main chicken dish. (Not mentioned in the menu or by the server?)

User

Lovely venue but we waited 30 minutes to get a drink . Various others were complaining too As the barman were not identifying who was at the bar first . They were just serving those In one area . Suggest a separate cocktail area as these were fab but taking a long time to prepare !

Other than that it would have been 5 stars sorry

User

Just went for drinks but stayed for a few hours. Had the best of it as it was a lovely sunny day. Not a lot to complain about, the service was pretty good but probably a bit slow for some tastes and of course it's big city prices but within the acceptable range.

User

I had never heard of the place. It was recommended by a friend but was warned about a dress code. As it was a hot day and dressed in smart shirt, shorts and trainers we were admitted with no problems. Coming out of the lift on the 19th floor or the 20 stories as they think we are in America. You was hit by the views over South Manchester. Into the bar area, we had cocktails. Being a Real Ale person I was lost. But the barman guided me through advising me what he recommended for my taste. He was spot on. Didn't look at the food menu so can't comment but not many people eating. The views around Greater Manchester are astounding. All the staff and door personnel are polite and efficient. Really enjoyed the visit.

User

Fabulous place, really enjoyed it. On the downside I ordered the ribeye at £31 on the advice of our waiter and it was tough. The lady who dealt with us couldn’t apologise enough and offered another one or my money back, I opted for the latter. For dessert I went for the Manchester Tart which was lovely but I was really hoping for the original I remembered from my school lunches. Four of us dined, and everyone else’s was amazing, I was just unlucky but don’t let this put you off because on the whole it was a fantastic evening.

User

My second visit to 20 Stories, stunning restaurant, when you can sit outside. The bar staff are not good , they just seem to ignore you , both times we had to call them over! I asked for a bottle of Prossecco, only to be told they don't have it , but something very similar from Argentina, who doesn't have Prossecco? It turned out to be Champagne, much more expensive!!

Each time the Lunch menu hasn't appealled and not to the people I was with either , rather weird choices. My meal was fine , but my friends found theirs very salty.

Nice surroundings, but please look at bar service and menu choices.

User

Door men very welcoming, beautiful place, food very well represented but waiter was a bit annoyed that we didn’t have a starter but we wanted a main and a desert, I ordered a cocktail 3 times and waited over an hour but when it came they knocked it off the bill then we left a £10 tip and the waiter turned very arrogant as he wanted the full £30 service charge which is optional so needless to say we won’t be going back

User

Absolutely Poor Service. Such a shame as it is a really beautiful place. We rarely get a chance to have an evening out and it was our anniversary where my husband had to pour our drinks! Considering it is not even the weekend i am leaving feeling extremely dissatisfied.

User

So disappointed about this place and I usually don't like writing negative reviews. However, the doorman on staff when me, my mom and sister came for cocktails was really irresponsible and as a result of his actions we felt on edge for the rest of our experience. There was a group of youths in front of us waiting to get in, clearly very drunk already sweating loudly, acting loutish and dressed scruffily. The doorman took them to one side and asked them to 'behave' when they got upstairs, but as they were being let in, three of their friends from behind us cut the queue. My sister confronted one of them gently, with a 'excuse me, we were here first' when one of the whipped around, put his hand out and said, "Who the f**k are you?!" She didn't reply as she was in shock and he was clearly very angry, he even put his hand on her wrist as though pushing her away and repeated a few more times "Who the f**k are you?!" Eventually he walked away and when the doorman returned from the lift we told him what had happened. He brushed it off and said, "It will be ok". Not good enough for a place where the experience is supposed to be very premium and luxury to be sipping your expensive cocktail whilst looking over your shoulder for a thug to come and finish what he started. A real shame, as though vue and drinks were nice enough but this whole experience added a very sour taste to what was otherwise supposed to be a nice chilled Sunday evening.

User

Tried to visit last night to celebrate my daughters graduation but unfortunately even though we were all dressed up for the occasion (all six of us) you wouldn’t let us in due to me wearing a pair of fit flips due to being on my feet all day and having a bad ankle. What a disappointment that was. Never mind - we had a great night at turtle bay instead who enjoyed our business. WHAT A JOKE!!!!!
