Passing by on Saturday, popped in on the off chance of getting a table. It was busy, but no problem at all. Food was lovely, service was great and to top it off some of the staff were dressed in 80’s costumes as it was Harvester’s 35th anniversary. Brilliant.

Fantastic visited yesturday 6th July me and my partner came up from Birmingham to visit family. My partner's mum and her partner brought us here for the first time service was excellent food was out outstanding. Staff were so friendly 5 star rate for them for customer service. Compliments to the chief. Will be coming here again.

booked table for half 7 arrived early had a drink got seated half hour later than planned food was ok nothing special althought the dessert was the best ive had in a while there staff didnt really seem interested there was some lady a couple of tables away playing music through her phone while her kids ran riot

We visited harvester this evening and Autumn was our server. She was very attentive and was brilliant with the 4yr old we were with. Having a great server always makes the visit better! Thank you Autumn! You deserve a raise! �

Visited this evening at 7.30 with my daughter. Good food (Well cooked and hot), Good price (You really can't complain about the prices) and Excellent Service (A special "Thank you" to our waiter, who was very polite, helpful and attentive.

Service was a little slow - salad bar seen better days - no more refill soft drinks



Main meal was ok but would of preferred chip shop style chips with my fish not French fries

Over an hour late getting seated and what seemed another hour to get served with our food, was told that it was busy, well then maybe it requires more kitchen staff to cope it wasn't like there was extra tables put up anywhere to add any delay, the food was ok restaurant, bar area and facilities were very clean.

Need to speed up, it was my daughters birthday and we were limited to time and took half hour just to place the order!

Arrived about 8pm. Waited awhile before someone came to find a table for us. There was 5 of us it took a while before coming back to say he could not seat us. Anyway we were told we would have 1/2 hr wait. So went to wait in bar area. After about 10mins we were shown to a table. There was no rossitiere chicken and rib combos left. Our meal was ok and the place was clean. Was asked if we had booked but we had not. We usually just turn up and have had no problems in the past. Do we need to book in advance?

Visited yesterday. Seated quickly as quite. Alot of untidy tables.our table sticky. No cutlery. Found own. Staff looked miserable. Food wasn't at its best.salad cart looked poor. Eaten there previously and food was better. And previous waitress was a gem.

It was ok... noticed you lacked staff... waited 40 mins or so.... chips were warm but was so hungry eat them ... ordered garlic bread & cheese to come with main but came more or less after.... the waitress apologised...

Went yesterday with partner. Food was awful.

Never had potatoe skins that have been deep fat fried before. Partner had steak and it's the first time I have ever seen him struggle to eat a steak - very greasy. I had fish - more batter than fish and the taste was of the oil rather than the fish. All in all a really bad meal but did not complain whilst there as too mad. On top of all that we sat with coats on as air conditioning set to cold

Went yesterday ordered the mixed grill with extra black pudding, no mushrooms no black pudding that's the second time they fucked up , I don't think the chief can read the orders or know what's on the menu. Went two weeks and they forgot my half grilled tomatoe and me large flat mushroom. Harvester sort the place out.

Went yesterday evening with my Mum, husband, sister and brith in law, food not very good. Jacket potatoes were not cooked enough (hard), my husband had the king prawns to start, not enough, no taste and very badly presented. My husband had the rump steak which he could hardly eat

, tough and far too fatty ! Did not enjoy the food at all ! On the plus side the waitress who served us was extremely nice and helpful. Will not be visiting any time soon, although my 89 year old Mum usually enjoys the food.

Oh wow well where to begin. Shocking service, wrong food brought to the table. Nearly an hr & 1/2 wait for food which wasn't great. Really disappointed as we have always had very good meals and service here.

Our waiter seemed to have all the big tables too.

Won't be back anytime soon.

Me and my friends came to this place yesterday. Worst dining experience! Service was terrible and food was equally as bad. It started out with the waitress (Phoebe) getting confused whilst she took our orders who also had the attitude to somehow blame this on us, too bad we were ordering starters and main meals together. So, we patiently let her figure things out while she mumbles to herself seeming so confused finding the dishes we were ordering on their system but again this seemed to be our fault because we werent calling them as they are on her gadget. We waited almost an hour and no one even told us that the food was going to be so late. So i thought i would ask how long we would need to wait. I politely said "excuse me.." and before the next word would come out the waitress replied "give me a minute i need to get the dishes on that table". I may be able to tolerate incompetence but not rudeness. My boyfriend calmly asked her for her name and told her "that was bad service" and she actually argued with him asking him how was that bad service!? It was a customer feedback but again we felt so disrespected. My friends all got annoyed after a while and spoke to the supervisor because we were just left there for further 15 minutes all after she told us she will get someone else to serve us and that the food was coming. After my friend explained to the supervisor what happened, who was again clueless to what went on, we received no apology or explanation. The food came after about 5-10 minutes which were mostly burnt. We left so much food untouched which was such a waste of money. We told the new waiter about this who was very professional and actually listened and offered alternatives but we did not want to wait longer for food to be cooked again. My friend did not touch her food at all and so she was told they will not charged for her baked mac and we were offered 20% off the food we hardly touched. We took them home feeling guilty to leave them for waste.. but actually even when we got home we ended up throwing it away as the meat were to hard to chew. Please do not waste your money on this place or atleast travel to another branch of harvester's.

Made the same mistake of going to this restaurant. This time I took my children with me. Waited for a long time for a waiter to take our drink and food orders. Waited over 30 mins for our food to come to the table and the order was wrong and the food was cold. A family member ordered a steak to be cooked medium rare but it wasn’t. It was also cold. The restaurant was given a second chance to rectify the problem but the steak came back inedible. Will not be recommending this branch to anyone nor will I be coming back.

If your driving up the m40, and see some road kill pick it up ,put it on you exhaust manifold, and by the time you get to next services it’ll probably be warm enough to eat with some cold chips from McDonald’s. That will pretty much sum up the harvester at beconsfield, feeling violated and robbed absolute rubbish
